Executive Director (Maternity Leave Coverage)

 The Natural Family Planning Association is a registered charitable organization that provides teaching in the Billings Ovulation Method of scientifically validated modern natural family planning.  Serving the Greater Toronto Area, the Natural Family Planning Association is part of an international network of groups serving women and couples. Its mission statement is:

“The mission of the Natural Family Planning Association is to teach the Billings Ovulation Method of family planning while promoting an understanding and appreciation of fertility that reflects Catholic teachings as outlined in Humanae Vitae.  We serve the entire community regardless of religious background: single women, married and engaged couples, adolescents as well as those who provide teaching and counseling to them.”

The Natural Family Planning Association seeks an energetic leader to assume the responsibilities of Executive Director. This part time paid position offers the challenge of providing leadership through collaboration in a small service agency. The agency is searching for a leader who can embody and promote its mission and values to staff, volunteers and donors. The qualified candidate possesses a degree in business/administration or equivalent related experience in strategic planning, policy development and implementation in collaboration with the Program Director and Board of Directors. The successful candidate will demonstrate a range of leadership and administrative skills, with a strong emphasis on fundraising, financial management and governance. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required. The paid position is part-time, with the understanding that this is a maternity leave position.
