How you can help

The teachers of the Natural Family Planning Association provide this valuable education at no charge, as described in our mission statement:

To provide instruction with respect to the ovulation method of family planning using the Ovulation Method (Billings).

Our goal is to educate everyone to understand, to value and to take responsibility for protecting their fertility. If and when they need family planning, it is our hope that they will make the healthy and morally good choice of using the Ovulation Method of natural family planning. This education is also relevant to those who provide counseling, especially priests and educators.

Our client population is made up of:

• Women from puberty to menopause.
• Young married or engaged couples.
• Parents.
• High school students.

We serve:

• Couples who wish to achieve pregnancy.
• Couples who wish to postpone pregnancy.
• Women who are approaching menopause or women who simply want to understand their bodies.
• Parents who are educating their children in sexuality.
• Adolescents of both sexes who are forming their values about their sexuality and who may one day marry and have children.
• Those people whose role relates to advising the above population e.g. priests deacons seminarians, educators counselors doctors.

Although our accredited teachers are all volunteer and receive no salary, The Natural Family Planning Association does have expenses.  The NFP Association reimburses the teachers for their expenses (e.g. gas, babysitting).  Also, the association has an accreditation process (which includes initial training, certification, re-certification and professional development) so that our teachers can provide the best Billings Ovulation Method education.

While we provide this education at no charge to all, we do need your financial support to continue to expand our educational services.  We are a charitable organization and as such are able to issue tax-deductible charitable donation receipts.  Donations are totally voluntary.  You do not need to donate to start or to continue receiving our educational services.
